Soaring Wings Vineyard near Springfield is set to host the 3rd annual Mud Run on Sunday September 6. The 5K Mud Run kicks off at 9 a.m., followed by the Mini Mud Run at 10:30 a.m. Both courses feature the 30-meter mud pit near the finish. Prizes are awarded for best costume, age group winners and best mud pit entry. Last year’s best costume winner will attest that Mud Run is the most fun you can have with a tux and a cigar.
