NEW FOR 2008
NSC Racing Series Team Roster FormatIn an effort to allow teams a little more flexibility in forming teams for the NSC Racing Series, we have adopted a new format for 2008.
Teams will submit their “Base Team Roster” for the first Series race they decide to enter in 2008. Teams will use that as their base and from that point on they must have two original members from their Base Team Roster for every race from that point on in order to continue to receive Series Points for that team. The third person can be anyone they want as long as it is still within the same division. For instance, teams will not be able to submit their Base Team as a coed team and enter a men’s division later on and get points for the Base Team. This system only applies to Series Races. The Panama Races and 12-Hour Mountain Bike Race do not count toward the Series.
NOTE: All Team Members will have their i.d.’s checked at each race and compared to the submitted Team Roster. Race organizers are instructed to not award Series Points to teams that don’t have i.d.’s upon check-in.
Whether you’re an occasional runner, bike rider, fitness buff or serious athlete the 2008 NSC Racing Series is for you. The Series will consist of 13 Races from western Nebraska all the way to Iowa, 7 of which will count towards series points. Teams of 3 will test their skills and endurance in a variety of disciplines. Come join the fun and see what all the craze is about!
