Registration 7 a.m.
Pre-race meeting at 7:30 a.m.
8 a.m. shotgun start

Entry Fee:

$45 per person, short course
$65 per person, long course
$10 late fee for any registrations received after September 19.

Short Course, approximately 3–4 hours
Long Course, approximately 6–8 hours

3-person masters (each teammate 40+)

*NOTE: 2-person teams will be allowed to register in the SHORT COURSE ONLY and will not receive points toward the NSC Racing series standings. There is no online registration for the 2-person teams, if you wish to register a 2-person team you must download registration form and send it with the entry fee to the Cozad Community Physical Therapy, Box 108, Cozad, NE 69130.

Awards will start at 5 p.m.
Teams will be made aware of cut off times, any course changes, off limits areas and last minute details at the pre-race meeting.

Gear Check­—MANDATORY

Friday 6–8 p.m. at Camp Comeca.
Mandatory for long course racers to check in Friday night. Short course teams may check in on Friday but also on Saturday morning. Teams unable to attend Friday night check-in, contact race director Robert Dyer 308-784-2231 or 308-760-7640.
*Bring all mandatory race gear.
*Maps and instructions will be handed out to long course racers.

Gear List:

Please note this gear list is required. There will be a pre-race gear check as well as a gear check somewhere during the race. All racers will have to show the race staff each item on the list. If you are missing an item the team will be penalized. Race numbers must be worn on captain’s backpack.

Required Individual Gear:

To be carried at all times (Unless otherwise instructed)
Hydration pack (40 oz. minimum)
Multi-use tool
Notepad w/ pencil or pen
Whistle
Emergency Blanket
Gloves
During bike legs
Bike helmet (teams will be required to wear helmet at all times on the bike)
Spare tube
Patch kit
Mountain Bike (no cyclocross or road bikes)

Recommended Individual Gear:

Sunglasses
Extra socks
Gel packs
Nutrition bars
Extra water bottles
Energy drink
CO2 cartridge/inflater
Sunscreen
Poison Ivy Ointment

UTM tool (1:24,000 scale) for plotting coordinates (Long course only)

One cell phone per team

1 roll of medical tape
Antibacterial ointment
1—3” Ace bandage
6 Band-Aids
Safety pins
Aspirin or ibuprofen
Poison ivy block
